Day 5, Takin' A Bus Ride

Today was a travel day although we did squeeze in some great stops!

The morning started with a ferry ride back to the main land.

We saw beautiful scenery during our bus ride and had lunch at a waterfall!  We even made our own arrow heads and NO one was hurt!

We did have a bit of time on the bus and a couple of us shared our favorite moments....

  1. Ms. Theresa’s favorite part so far is getting to know all the ambassadors and watching them on the high ropes course because some of the students faced their fears.
  2. Ms. Ann’s favorite part so far is when the Delegates share in their knowledge of  what they have learned while traveling to the many new communities.
  3. Kassi’s favorite part so far is the ropes course in Monkido with ziplines and swinging logs.
  4. Summer’s favorite part so far are the murals because they inspire her to do better paintings and drawings.
  5. Anna`s Favorite part: So far my favorite part of the trip was when we went to the Rope course!! “ I loved this activity because it was really fun doing all the obstacles and because our leaders went BUNGEE JUMPING!!!!!”
  6. Hannah A.’s favorite part was at the zip line course. It was really fun going through obstacles high up in the trees. I almost fell twice! Probably the most fun part while I was there was when we watched all the leaders bungee jump and Mr. James touched the water.
  7. Rachel’s favorite part was the Tree-Go because I’ve never done that before and I had a lot of fun.
  8. Kali’s favorite part was when we went whale watching because I’ve always wanted to see whales in their natural habitat!! While watching the whales roaming free I had the time of my life!!!!!
  9. Noah’s favorite part was everything. It was all so interesting to me!
  10. Laine’s favorite part was whale watching. I loved seeing them roam free in their natural habitat
  11. Aspen’s favorite part so far was probably watching our leaders “follow” our commands to jump off a bridge. Although they were attached to a rope, I loved watching them free fall and then bounce back up! It was so funny to watch them spazz and jump!
  12. Kristine’s favorite part was when we went whale watching, and when some of the kids took pictures of the posters!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  13. Brendan D. s favorite part was when... well everything basically!
More to come...

Also, we have started a shutterfly account to share photos once we return.  If you would like to be invited and haven't, please post a comment below with your email and I will add you (or send an email your your delegation leader and they will fwd it to me, Theresa).
